The amazing Kate Parker came to entertain our residents and she didn’t just sing to them… she got everyone involved too! 🥹✨
Residents joined in by playing instruments along to the music, creating such a fun, lively atmosphere filled with smiles, laughter, singing, and plenty of toe tapping 💃🎶
It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful music really is 💙
Music encourages movement, engagement, confidence, memory, coordination and connection, today we saw all of that and more.
Some residents happily shook bells along to the rhythm…
Others sang every word…
And a few simply sat back soaking up the lovely atmosphere with the biggest smiles on their faces 😊
