Nutritious Meal at Downsvale Nursing Home

It’s not just comfort and top-quality day-to-day nursing care that we offer our residents-home-cooked food is a key feature at Downsvale and our Head Chef and his team prepare freshly cooked, nutritious meals daily on-site, with treats being prepared to celebrate occasions and festivals.

Our expert catering staff prepares three meals a day to suit individual requirements. We work hard to deliver nutritious menus to the highest standards all year round and we welcome visitors to stay for meals with us.

Our Head Cook Chef receives regular Food Safety updates and holds the Level 3 qualification in Food Safety.  Special dietary requirements of residents can be catered to, including pureed food for those with swallowing difficulties.

Dining creates a sense of occasion on birthdays and festivals and we make it special for residents who enjoy being together with staff and their family members
