🌱 GROWING SOMETHING SPECIAL AT DOWNSVALE
We’ve been getting our hands dirty at Downsvale with our very own herb garden! 🌿🪴
Our residents joined the amazing Sahil and Daisy for a lovely afternoon of planting, choosing their herbs, filling their pots with soil and carefully sowing their seeds.
Each pot was then personalised with the resident’s name and the herb they planted, ready for everyone to watch their own little seedlings grow. 🌱
Gardening activities are such a lovely way to bring together sensory stimulation, gentle movement and conversation — but sometimes the simplest part is the best: planting something yourself and having something of your own to nurture and look forward to. 💚
Now comes the exciting bit… watering, waiting and seeing whose herbs make an appearance first! 👀🌿
