Keeping Cool at Downsvale! ☀️
There’s nothing better than getting creative and making something that’s both fun and practical!
With the warmer weather here, our residents spent the afternoon creating their very own paper fans to help keep cool this summer.
From carefully folding the paper and twisting the colourful handles, to proudly showing off their finished creations, everyone enjoyed getting involved and putting their own touch on their fans.
Activities like these are about so much more than arts and crafts. They encourage concentration, creativity, dexterity and most importantly, bring lots of smiles and conversation along the way.
We think they did a wonderful job – and they’ll certainly come in handy over the next few sunny days! ☀️
