Many of you may not know that this week marked the reopening of visits to care homes across the UK.

The past year has been so challenging for residents and staff in care homes across the UK, many sacrifices made to ensure our home remained Covid free.

 It has filled us with great joy to see family members again visiting our residents and being able to have close contact and to hold hands.

 As you can imagine there have been tears, smiles and heart warming moments around Downsvale Nursing Home.

 We would once again like to take this moment to thank the families of our residents for your support and understanding over the past 12 months and we can’t wait to welcome back as many of you as possible over the next coming months as further restrictions begin to be lifted.
