Our residents have been enjoying some lovely one-to-one activity time, choosing things they personally enjoy — from arranging beautiful flowers 🌼 to settling down with a word search. ✏️
One-to-one activities give our residents the opportunity to enjoy something at their own pace, with dedicated time, encouragement and companionship from our team.
And there are plenty of benefits too.
Activities like flower arranging can encourage creativity, sensory stimulation and gentle movement, while word searches are a great way to keep the mind active and support concentration. 🧠🌸
Most importantly, it’s about recognising that everyone is different. What one resident enjoys might not be right for another — so taking the time to discover those individual interests is all part of making life at Downsvale feel personal. 🥰
