This week our residents enjoyed trying their hand at creating beautiful origami hearts, carefully folding, shaping and decorating each one with plenty of concentration along the way.
Creative activities like origami are about so much more than making something lovely to take home. They help encourage focus, support fine motor skills, promote hand-eye coordination and give residents a wonderful sense of achievement as their creations come to life.
There were plenty of smiles, a few giggles as everyone mastered the folds, and lots of pride in the finished hearts. 💙
