Today has seen a number of our residents engaging their brains across a variety of different activities.
A fundamental part of the care we deliver at Downsvale provide, is to ensure our residents get to partake in activities that consist of one-to-one interaction and company of others.
A great example of this is John and Paloma playing draughts…
…Actually the full story here is that John was teaching Paloma how to play draughts…a forgotten game amongst the younger generation it seems 
…but a classic game.
As you guessed, John was victorious but he showed his compassionate side by allowing Paloma to win a game or two
