I visited several care/nursing homes before selecting Downsvale. From my first point of contact, the management team made this new journey for our family incredibly simple, efficient and proactive, rare qualities indeed in these current times. I was kept informed of all developments between the hospital and the care home at the point of discharge. The home is filled with caring, helpful and friendly staff from the care team up to management level. The accounts team held my hand through all the form filling, explaining everything clearly and succinctly. As a family we are all thrilled with the care our stepfather-in-law is receiving. The rooms, bathrooms and common areas are spotless. There is always a selection of refreshments easily accessible in his room with easy to pick up and hold beakers. The room is airy, spacious, light, a perfect temperature and all the facilities our step-father requires are catered for. Can call for updates anytime. Brilliant care home. Thank you.
